Pam and John opened the diner in 2019 after years of managing and establishing franchised restaurants in Strathmore. PJ’s Diner was created to give Strathmore a local and family-friendly diner that wouldn’t break the budget. We are passionate about quality food at affordable prices and make most of our food in-house from scratch. PJ’s values have always been in the people of Strathmore and building relationships with them not just as clients but friends.

This place is great, feels very open and not claustrophobic. I had what was by far the best patty melt I've ever had in my life. The cook came out and I got to thank him personally. He recommended next time I should try the PJ's big burger. Next time I come here, and I will come here again, I will definitely give it a try. Highly recommended this restaurant.

My son convinced me to come here today for dinner and I am so glad they did! I had the Cordon Swiss Chicken burger with poutine and it was delicious. We were full so we couldn't eat dessert, so we took a lemon meringue pie home. The pie was just amazing! I can't wait to come back on my next visit with my son.

Had an amazing bite to eat after taking our boys swimming. Staff was super kind, super friendly and the food was delicious. My kiddo introduced himself as we were chatting (6 years old). Go to pay our bill and come to find that we weren’t charged for our kiddos (apparently after 4 not sure of the days). Then as we were leaving- my boys said thank you, bye and the gentleman said “bye, J”. That little boy lit up like a Christmas tree grinning.

We will definitely make this a repeat event. So, so impressed with this sweet little diner.
